Kitchen and Bath Designer

SUMMARY: The Kitchen and Bath Designer facilitates the efficient operation of the Kitchen and Bath department by providing support and performing a variety of administrative tasks. You will assist in design work and will be integral to the completion of our design projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Scheduling appointments for consultations.
• Answering phones.
• Send emails/make phone calls to clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Creating install packets to communicate cabinet orders and design with the installers.
• Review cabinet orders for errors and/or inaccuracies.
• Entering orders into order entry system.
• Order tracking and management.
• Check stock levels of catalogs, literature, and design samples and brochures and restocking them as necessary, pulling discontinued items.
• Maintain the cleanliness and layout of the showroom, assist with in-store and off-site events and programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
• Ability to read a tape measure and scale ruler.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience 2020 Design software, Sketch-Up and/or CAD preferred, but not required.
• 1 year experience working in an interior design, kitchen & bath, construction, or remodeling setting is required
