Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, positive, flexible, person with a can-do attitude, to work as part of our supply chain department, purchasing all MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations supplies) needs, manage ROP inventoried items, and capital equipment. Expedite production materials to ensure supplier on-time delivery and achieve production build plans. Help with inventory management and reconciling any issues with supplier deliveries. In this role, you will work very closely with senior buyers, inventory control coordinators, and master scheduler. We will consider applicants who have relevant buying experience in various industries in a manufacturing environment. The candidate needs to be highly organized, have superior analytical and communication skills, and be self-starting.   This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain broad experience to support a career path in procurement.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase high-quality products with cost efficiency in mind
  • Expedite supplier open purchase orders
  • Help manage inventory
  • Resolve delivery-related issues or mishaps
 Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Minimum education requires an Associate’s degree in a relevant field. 
  • Professional experience procuring goods
  • Knowledge of business administration and inventory management software
  • Basic Computer proficiency.
  • Extremely organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills. 
  • A team player and self-starter capable of working independently when required.
  • Flexible enough to balance tight deadlines with changing goals.
  • Comfortable working with coworkers at all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to use positive interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts.
  • APICS certification a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a small, growing, and fast-paced environment.
 
 
The compensation salary range for this role is $51,500 to $63,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
